Dear brothers and sisters,

I warmly invite you to our “Evening of Socialising & Tasting”, which will take place on Friday 18 September 2026 from 6.00 pm at our parish hall at Tervuursestraat 56, 3000 Leuven (1st floor).

I would like our parish to be not just a place where we meet during church services, but also a real community where people get to know one another, chat, build friendships and simply enjoy spending an evening together.

This time, we’re in for a special treat: craft beers from the Belgian brewery De Schuur, paired with a carefully selected range of cheeses, nuts and dried fruits.

But the most important thing about this evening is, of course, not the beer or the cheese. The most important thing is getting together. It’s an opportunity to spend time together without rushing, to chat, to get to know one another better and to experience the warmth of our parish community.

 ☦️ BELOVED BROTHERS AND SISTERS! ☦️
It is with great joy that I would like to share some fantastic news with you!
WE’RE OFF TO SAINT GODELIEVE!

And not just after Easter, as I’d previously thought, but already — in October!
To me, this really is a minor miracle. I was given a sign, and I don’t want to let this opportunity pass me by.
  Thank God for this opportunity!

 PROGRAMME OF OUR PILGRIMAGE:

  Sunday 4 October
We set off from Leuven at 7.30 am, from Sint-Jacobsplein 6.
On Sundays, parking in Leuven is free.

At around 9.30 am, we arrive at the monastery in Pervijze, where we take part in the patron saint’s feast.
After the Divine Liturgy, we will hold a memorial service at the grave of our parishioners Svetlana Teslenko and her husband Pavel Pavlovich Ivanov.
Together we will pray for them and ask the Lord to grant their souls peace.
We will then continue on to Gistel, to the monastery of Saint Godelieve.
In the presence of her holy relics, we can hold a prayer service for health and well-being, pray for ourselves and our loved ones, and rediscover the remarkable life story of this great saint.
Through the prayers of Saint Godelieve, many of our parishioners have already received help and healing, and difficult situations in their lives have been resolved.
And now the Lord is once again giving us the opportunity to go to her together. ❤️

Божественная Литургия / Goddelijke Liturgie te Roeselbergkapel, 07 juni 

В следующее воскресенье, 7 июня, мы будем совершать Богослужение не в нашем храме, а в особом и благодатном месте. Именно здесь в XVI веке произошло чудесное явление Матери Божией среди леса. На месте явления была построена часовня, которая со временем стала и остаётся до сих пор местом паломничества многих христиан. Нам было дано благословение совершить здесь Божественную Литургию. Поэтому 7 июня в 10:00 Божественная Литургия состоится по адресу: Stokskesstraat, 3390 Tielt-Winge Это место находится всего в десяти минутах езды на автомобиле от Лёвена. Рядом с часовней имеется парковка. Для тех, кто будет добираться общественным транспортом, подойдёт любой автобус до Tielt-Winge. Оттуда вас смогут забрать Максим, Порфириус, Николас Ян. Просим заранее связаться с ними. После Божественной литургии на месте будет организован общий пикник и чаепитие. Также в этот день во время Божественной литургии мы будем принимать в Православную Церковь одного из наших кандидатов. Просим ваших молитв за раба Божия Тюра, который готовится войти в удивительный мир Православия и принять имя Серафим.

Volgende zondag, 7 juni, zullen wij niet in onze kerk dienen, maar op een bijzondere en gezegende plaats. Op deze plek vond in de 16e eeuw een wonderbare verschijning van de Moeder Gods plaats midden in het bos. Ter herinnering hieraan werd een kapel gebouwd, die door de eeuwen heen een geliefde bedevaartplaats is geworden voor vele christenen. Wij hebben de zegen ontvangen om op deze heilige plaats de Goddelijke Liturgie te vieren. Daarom zal op 7 juni om 10.00 uur de Goddelijke Liturgie plaatsvinden op het volgende adres: Stokskesstraat, 3390 Tielt-Winge Deze plaats ligt op slechts tien minuten rijden van Leuven. Er is parkeergelegenheid bij de kapel. Wie met het openbaar vervoer komt, kan elke bus nemen naar Tielt-Winge. Van daaruit kunnen Maksim, Porfirius, Nicolas Jan u ophalen. Gelieve vooraf contact met hen op te nemen. Na de Goddelijke Liturgie zullen wij ter plaatse samenkomen voor een picknick en een gezellig samenzijn met koffie en thee. Tijdens deze Goddelijke Liturgie zullen wij bovendien één van onze catechumenen opnemen in de Orthodoxe Kerk. Wij vragen uw gebeden voor Gods dienaar Thur, die zich voorbereidt om het wonderlijke wereld van de Orthodoxie binnen te treden en de naam Serafim te ontvangen.
